  • *KEYNOTE SPEAKER* Ryan Smith - CEO Qualtrics; Owner Utah Jazz

    DescriptioRyan Smith co-founded Qualtrics in 2002 with the goal of making sophisticated research simple. As CEO, he has grown the company from a basement startup to one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the world. Qualtrics has more than 8,500 enterprise customers including over 75% of the Fortune 100, 1,800 colleges and universities worldwide, and 99 of the top 100 U.S. business schools. In late 2018 just before going public, Qualtrics was acquired by SAP for $8 billion in the largest transaction in Utah tech history.

  • Darlene Carter - CEO, CW Group

    Darlene Carter has a significant amount of work experience in the real estate industry. Darlene is currently the Chief Executive Officer at CW Group, a position she has held since January 2022. Prior to this, she was the President at CW Urban from June 2017 to January 2022.

  • Natalie Gochnour - Chief Economist

    Natalie Gochnour serves as an associate dean in the David Eccles School of Business and director of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah. She also serves as the chief economist for the Salt Lake Chamber. During her public service, she advised Utah governors Norm Bangerter, Mike Leavitt, and Olene Walker. She also served as a political appointee in the George W. Bush administration, serving as an associate administrator at the EPA and counselor to the secretary at Health and Human Services.

  • Christian Gardner - CEO, Gardner Group

    Christian Gardner is CEO and Chairman of the Gardner Group, a privately-owned collective of companies driven by his commitment to sustainability, innovation, quality real estate development and re-investing back into communities through philanthropy. He has spent a large part of his career focused on the Gardner family’s 40-year-old, full-service commercial real estate company specializing in the development of corporate office, retail, industrial and medical buildings.

  • Brigg Bunker - Managing Partner, Okland Capital

    Brigg Bunker is a Managing Parter at Okland Capital where he oversees acquisitions, development, dispositions, and P&L for real estate activities. Prior to Okland, Brigg was Managing Partner/COO for Foulger Pratt Companies. Brigg received a Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

  • Charles Elliott - CIO, Gables Residential

    In his previous capacity as President of Toll Brothers Apartment Living, Charles managed the Apartment Living and Campus Living divisions of Toll Brothers (NYSE:TOL). Charles’ responsibilities included all aspects of acquisition, disposition, capitalization, development, leasing, and management for apartment, hospitality, mixed-use and student housing projects. In his tenure, Charles oversaw a development pipeline of over 20,000 units with a development value in excess of $10 Billion.Prior to joining Toll Brothers, Charles was the President of Dewey Commercial Investors, a fully integrated developer and owner manager of apartment and office property. Charles holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
